Costa Rica painting retreat bucket list: Take canvas for a swim. I have been wanting to take one of my canvases for a swim for years. Surprisingly, when I lived on Hawaii, I did not indulge this urge.
For my upcoming retreat in Costa Rica, I pledge to change this and finally take one of my canvasses for a swim. And yes, I will also paint on the beach and incorporate beach sand and whatever else calls me at the time into my painting. Why? Why not?! I am constantly urging my students to "indulge their creative urges" because this is how we make our "Creativity/Intuition" muscles strong. I look forward to taking my own advice this November. I also encourage my students to tell their story on the canvas. What better way to do this than to literally take your canvas on an adventure with you?! The thought fills me with joy. What are some of your creative urges you would like to indulge? For more information & to register go to: https://imiloainstitute.com/retreat/fearless-abstract-painting/ Comments are closed.
