 My new series of paintings is inspired by rust, peeling paint, abandoned buildings, ripped jeans, torn newspaper, and many surfaces found in nature. I am fascinated by creating paintings that look like they have been left outside to be exposed to the elements and the passing of time.
We all have an internal compass. Following that compass isn't always easy, but it will always take us exactly where we need to be. My unique contribution is creating paintings I am passionate about, and teaching others how art making can be a vehicle for empowerment. |
