Exciting news! I am thrilled to announce that my work has been featured in the April 2023 issue of Architectural Digest. It's a dream come true to be recognized by such a prestigious publication, and I am still pinching myself to make sure it's real. I must admit that I was a little hesitant to believe it until I held the magazine in my hands. It sat unopened on my coffee table for two days before my husband encouraged me to finally take a look. I feel incredibly grateful for this opportunity and overwhelmed with joy. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey!
Bountiful Davis Art Center hosted its inaugural fine art auction, Chromatic, which was a weeklong online art auction where collectors and patrons could bid on gorgeous artwork produced by professional artists. All proceeds supported BDAC's nonprofit community programs. I am happy to have show my support in donating one of my works to this cause.
Utah is an extraordinary destination for exploring the natural world. Our journey has taken us on a path to discover and create textured and abstract paintings using a variety of materials such as plaster, paint, gel, Utah soil, foraged sawdust, salt from the Great Salt Lake, and snow. We are grateful for the support of Ogden Contemporary Arts and Boys & Girls Clubs of Weber-Davis in helping us to embark on this artistic exploration.
This blog was created to share my belief that the art-making process is a catalyst for transformation and personal empowerment. I am living proof.
