It's great to be back in my studio after a 21-day trip to Paris and Amsterdam. In my sanctuary, I find nourishment through creativity, making sense of life's experiences. With lectures by Joseph Campbell, Ram Dass, and Alan Watts playing in the background, my canvases become visual meditations, connecting me to the divine.
Here, in my studio, I am truly home. Oh my goodness, what an incredible night! Feeling overwhelmingly grateful for the tremendous success of Friday night's 1-year anniversary celebration at Gallery Mar. The love and support from my family, friends, and collectors mean the world to me!
A dream doesn't come true without a dedicated and passionate team, and I am so thankful for each and every one of you for making this possible. Be Truthful, Gentle, and Fearless. Love, S Today marks a truly special moment in my life – I am now officially an American citizen. The emotions swirling within me are indescribable: elation, pride, humility, gratitude, and relief. This journey of 8 years has been a rollercoaster of obstacles and miracles.
Grateful beyond words for every person who played a part in my journey – family, friends, colleagues, collectors, and mentors. A heartfelt thank you to my partner Tyson, whose unwavering support and encouragement were instrumental in making this dream a reality. And to my late father, though not here physically, I feel his presence and love today. America, like any other country, is not without flaws. Yet, I believe that our strength lies in our diversity. Together, united by our different cultures and ideas, we can overcome challenges and strive for the greater good. Today, I stand proud as an American, ready to contribute my part to this beautiful tapestry of unity and progress. The hues of Paris. Gratitude, Universe, for granting me the chance to perceive the world with the sensitivity of an artist.
My perception of the world is deeply instinctive. Individuals, places, and objects, to me, exude a tangible energy. It's as if each thing has its own distinct "tune" that I can attune to like a radio frequency. The harmonies of Paris offer me solace. I observe that the majority in this city place a premium on maintaining a balanced work-life equation. They seem to prioritize working to live, in contrast to the prevailing ethos in the United States of living to work. Being here brings me a sense of inner peace. Grateful for the gentle nudge. Join me for my 1-year anniversary celebration at Gallery Mar on Friday, July 26th from 6-9 pm.
Reflecting on the past year at this gem in Park City, home of Sundance Film Festival and the most breathtaking snow on earth, has been an absolute dream.
