Commissions
Commissioning a painting means inviting me to create a one-of-a-kind artwork tailored to your vision. Together, we craft a piece that resonates deeply with your story, space, and spirit.
Process
We begin with a conversation—sharing your ideas on color, mood, theme, and inspiration. Send photos of your space, blueprints, fabric swatches, or images of existing furnishings and art. I often recommend starting from one to three of my previous works as reference, or recreating the essence of a favorite piece in a new size or variation. For an even more personal touch, you may include meaningful materials—sand from a cherished beach, soil from a significant place, or other small elements.
You’ll receive progress updates throughout, with opportunities to give feedback. Final approval is yours before completion. While I do not create exact duplicates, the new work will belong to the same family—related in spirit, yet wholly original.
Memorial Paintings
To honor a loved one, I offer the option to incorporate cremated remains into the painting. This sacred process transforms loss into lasting beauty, with you guiding size, palette, and the inclusion of cremains to create a deeply personal tribute.
Investment
A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your commission; the balance is due upon completion and approval. Shipping, crating, and installation are arranged separately for an additional cost.
Timeline
Typically 3–6 weeks from deposit, depending on size and complexity.
