Mother appreciation post. I think it's safe to say I would not have become a professional artist if it weren't for my mother. As an artist, my mother taught me a way to see and experience the world that profoundly shaped me. One of my earliest memories of my mother is of her working on her fine arts degree homework in Brazil, painting and drawing for hours whilst raising a growing family.
My mother also taught me the value of hard work with a happy heart, looking for the positive in all situations and surrendering our will to the higher power. Our relationship has not been without growing pains but today, I consider my mother a best friend. I don't know why or how I got so lucky to have such a wonderful mentor. Everyday, I try to do right by her and my father's sacrifices to give me a better life. Thank you mom. #MothersDay #MothersDay2023 #MotherAppreciation #MotherAndChild #MomLove #MomAndMe #ArtistMother #FineArtsDegree #HardWorkPaysOff #HappyHeart #PositiveVibes #SurrenderToGod #BlessedToHaveYou #BestMentor #FearlessCreator #AbstractArt #WorkshopSLC #SaltLakeCityArt #ArtWorkshop #IntentionalLiving #BeFearless If you're still looking for a way to celebrate someone you love this mother's day, join me May 13 & 14 for Fearless Abstract Painting Workshop at Workshop SLC.
