Birthday Reflections: Gratitude Amid Life's Tremors

Celebrating another year of life today, and it’s a celebration of gratitude. Grateful for the earthquakes and volcanoes, both real and emotional, that shook me up and cleared space for grander visions.

A heartfelt thank you is owed to my partner, my collaborator in life, whose presence has been the most enriching experience. My family and friends have created a sense of "home" that transcends any physical space. Their unwavering support and love have been my rock.

To my students, partners, and art enthusiasts, I extend my deep thanks. Your belief in my craft fuels my passion. Teaching workshops and exhibiting in galleries are my humble ways of giving back for the privilege of living life as an artist.

I'm even appreciative of those who may not overtly acknowledge my influence but draw inspiration from my techniques, forging their own creative paths. Your journey motivates me to reach greater heights than I once thought possible.
