About the Workshops
In these sessions, we work on tables rather than easels, using rollers, generous pours of paint and water, and intuitive mark-making. You’ll explore texture through plaster, salt, sand, sawdust, and other materials — creating luminous, grounded works that reflect both inner and outer landscapes.
We gather in a heart-centered, non-judgmental space where curiosity leads. Through guided prompts, reflective conversation, and hands-on creation, you’ll move from fear and doubt into joyful expression and creative confidence. No prior experience is necessary — only an open heart and willingness to play.
Special themes and focuses may include:
• Fearless Metallics (metallic paints, powders, and gold leaf)
• Distressed Mixed Media (layering, scraping, and tearing for weathered surfaces)
• Paint Big, Paint Fearless (working on oversized canvases)
