2023 Heart of Gold

With this body of work, I aim to explore themes of place, home, belonging, immigration, and the passage of time. I see these artworks as tools for orientation, providing insights into the environments from which they emerge. Through my creations, I seek to offer an alternative perspective on what it means to find and ground oneself in new surroundings, prompting reflection on the complexities of identity and the search for belonging.
