In this series, I juxtapose the ethereal flow of emotion with the tangible weight of place, embedding local natural materials directly into the canvas.
“There’s been constant movement in my life,” I reflect, “yet home and belonging remain the enduring theme.” By weaving Utah’s distinctive red dirt, local sawdust, and Great Salt Lake salt into the work, I root myself in the present and allow the land to speak through texture and depth.
