2020 PRACTICING ETERNITY
Suspended between heaven and earth, the ethereal and the solid, imagination and reality - an endless cycle of sublimation and deposition of matter. My father's sudden and unexpected death makes me want to take greater responsibility to make my dreams a reality.
Infusing the environment into my work: iron-rich Utah dirt, salt from The Great Salt Lake, plaster, repurposed paint, metallic pigments and newspaper to create ethereal, textured abstracts.
