2013 Lucid
Lucid [loo-sid]
Adjective
1. Easily understood; completely intelligible or comprehensible: a lucid explanation.
2. Characterized by clear perception or understanding; rational or sane: a lucid moment in her madness.
3. Shining or bright.
4. Clear; pellucid; transparent.
In this series, I embrace monochromes while incorporating themes of meditation, spirituality, and the potential for healing within my work. I explore the clarity that comes from knowing my purpose and the courage required to see it through. Am I brave enough to allow the process to evolve into ideas both on and off the canvas?
Life has a way of redirecting us—sometimes gently, sometimes not. For me, this often hinges on my willingness to accept "what is" rather than clinging to an idealized version of reality. Through the Lucid series, I invite viewers to join me in this journey of acceptance, clarity, and transformation, as we navigate the complexities of existence together.
