2012 Anthropologie
This series marks a quantum leap in my artistic journey. From my tiny high-rise apartment with a stunning view of downtown Calgary, I began creating the work I feel I was always meant to produce. I strive to scratch beneath the surface, exploring the depths of our inner selves. Our scars, after all, are what make us uniquely beautiful.
I draw inspiration from the elements that resonate deeply with me: rust, peeling paint, abandoned buildings, ripped jeans, and the beauty found in decay. Through these pieces, I invite viewers to appreciate the intricate layers of life and the stories that shape our identities.
