These are the materials I recommend for my workshops and private sessions.

Essential Supplies
1 -2 Canvases — 22x28” or 24x30 (stretched canvas)
Mini Paint Roller, 4” High Density Foam
Mini Paint Roller Refill Inserts (High Density Foam)
Plastic Putty Knife (for spreading texture)
Spray Bottle (for water application)
Acrylic Paints — in a variety of colors that resonate with you
DAP Spackling Paste
Acrylic Gel Medium, Gloss
Salt, Sand & Sawdust — collected or store-bought
Plastic Table Cover (or drop cloth)
Painting Apron
Disposable Latex or Nitrile Gloves
Paper Towels (single roll)
Saran Wrap
Landscape / Nature Photos (for inspiration — printed or on your phone)
Acrylic Varnish, Gloss (optional)
Helpful Tips
• Work on a sturdy table rather than an easel for this process.
• No expensive brushes needed — we primarily use rollers and hands.
• Feel free to bring any meaningful found materials (special dirt, small objects, etc.) if you’d like to incorporate them into your piece.
