Typically, my students tell me that my workshops were a transformative experience, because they were able to approach the blank canvas without fear for the first time in their lives. As a result, they were able to paint freely, intuitively, enjoying the process along the way.
There is no way to be sure, but I think that this time, the biggest transformation was felt by me! I was reminded how much I love teaching, and that although I sometimes feel like my contribution is not that special, it actually is. Anytime any of us do something we love and share it, we change the world for the better.
This blog was created to share my belief that the art-making process is a catalyst for transformation and
I am living proof.
