Happy day! I am honoured to have been selected to participate in the Summer Group Show at 15th Street Gallery. Many thanks to the family & friends who attended the event.
2019 daSilva Fine Art Exhibition Schedule Announcement
A huge & heartfelt "Thank You" to my friends at Root'd Home in Park City, Ut for featuring my artwork on their "Meet the Maker" blog series. I am thrilled and honored to be a part of such a dynamic, talented and generous community. Read the full story HERE
My new series of paintings is inspired by rust, peeling paint, abandoned buildings, ripped jeans, torn newspaper, and many surfaces found in nature. I am fascinated by creating paintings that look like they have been left outside to be exposed to the elements and the passing of time.
We all have an internal compass. Following that compass isn't always easy, but it will always take us exactly where we need to be. My unique contribution is creating paintings I am passionate about, and teaching others how art making can be a vehicle for empowerment.

Happy day! After 7 different art studios since our move to the Big Island of Hawaii in 2016 (I kid you not, I’ve done the math 3 times), I am thrilled to announce that daSilva Fine Art has found a permanent home in Salt Lake City, Utah!
This is nothing short than a dream come true for me, and I can’t begin to express how thankful I am for the people that have encouraged & supported us during this extremely transitional time in our lives.
Stay tuned for our upcoming Grand Opening event, new workshop announcements, FearLESS retreats, and the fact that my earnings get larger with the passing of each year.
This project was a little bit different than the usual.. I painted on a wall instead of a canvas! Since I was painting on wallpaper (a commission for a client in Park City, Utah) I had to use special paint and custom made rollers. The entire job took about 19 hours.
I finally got the chance to attend the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. I always thought it would be as a spectator, but sometimes our dreams come to life in unexpected ways. Today I got to take part in the festivities doing some live painting inside my favorite store on Main Street: Root'd Home with my paintings hanging on the walls. Happy day!
Inspired by our recent move to Salt Lake City, UT, the necessity to feel "rooted" after so much movement and transition, and the desire to create calmness and peace in my environment.
This blog was created to share my belief that the art-making process is a catalyst for transformation and personal empowerment. I am living proof.
