The desert is a timid lover. It reveals itself slowly. Its barren surface is a facade meant to keep the impatient from staying here long. It's as though the landscape has been stripped of every overindulgence and distilled to its essential, grandiose spirit. Curiously, there is something about the austerity of the desert that makes me feel like: "I have arrived. I am home." I am mesmerized, addicted and seduced. Paintings inspired by the colors, textures and spirit of the Great Salt Lake. Comments are closed.
