Today my Wednesday morning class was in for a special treat: His name was Jax.
Jax is eight years old. And this morning, he came to class with his parents. In his own words: "This is one of the best days of my life!" and "I never knew painting could be this much fun!"and "Mom, I want to be your painting buddy!"
This little boy was truly Fearless. There did not seem to be enough canvasses to fill his appetite. He finished a record breaking four canvasses in one class!
At the end of our time together, he surprised me even still when he gifted me with one of his paintings titled: The Green Pony. Check it out for yourself in the picture above. See the green pony jumping over the moon? Sure you do. And what does the green pony say as he jumps over the moon? "I love my life!".
Thank you Jax!
This blog was created to share my belief that the art making process can be a vehicle for empowerment.
I am living proof.
