This summer I will be teaching a 5-day Fearless Abstract Painting PLUS Metallics workshop at Red Deer College (Sold Out) as a part of their international Summer Series Program. I am ecstatic. However, there has been some confusion concerning the supply list for this class. Hopefully this blog post will help clarify:
Trust me, I was surprised myself when I learned that RDC will provide the following items for each student taking the course:
If you did not find these items on your supply list, this is why.
That said, we go through a lot of supplies. I repeat: We go through a lot of supplies. Namely: paper towels, salt, DAP (Vinyl Spackling), Liquitex gel, varnish, paint rollers and replaceable foam inserts (to fit the roller) so I would highly advise you to bring extra of all of these items so that you do not run out.
Capiche? (Do you understand?)
Finally, remember what I always say: It is better to bring more canvasses and not use them than not enough canvasses and run out.
See you in July!
