The first time I taught this workshop, I was terrified. I remember thinking: "How can I stand in front of a class and admit that I do not paint on an easel, I do not use brushes, I refuse to read labels, I begin painting without having the slightest idea of what the painting is going to look like, I make my own mediums, and that I threw my color wheel in the garbage?"
I thank God I took a leap of faith, and taught my first abstract painting workshop despite my fears. It literally derailed my life. And as it turns out, it's been a catalyst for transforming the way thousands of people think, feel and make art.
