Once upon a time, I imagined sharing Fearless Abstract Painting with the entire world! I honestly believe that my inspiration was a divine gift, and it's just too damn cool (and important) to keep to myself.
A huge "Thank You" to my talented colleague & friend, Rae Broyles for helping me spread the good news of Fearless Abstract Painting with the world. Catch her in her beautiful studio near Atlanta, Georgia on May 3 & 4, 2018.

Hey Sam, I’m interested in how to sign a painting, I usually sign my last name in sharpie in the bottom right corner. I’m not in love with my signature. I’ve tried many variations. I m curious how you sign a triptych.... do you sign them all or just one? Thoughts about signing the side canvas?
Thank you for your input. S
Sometimes your dreams gather an unprecedented momentum. What can a girl do besides thank her lucky stars and go with the flow?! After 21 days of travelling and teaching abroad, I arrived in Hawaii and taught 2 days of Fearless Abstract Painting for adults & keikis (kids) at the exclusive Kukio Golf & Beach Club in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. I am honored. Truly, this is what painting in paradise looks like.
At the beginning of February, I taught a sold out workshop at the Sonoma Community Center. The workshop was a huge success, so I was asked to come back and teach a second workshop. I was more than happy to do so. I found Sonoma extremely welcoming, full of smiles, friendship, gratitude, stunning vistas, delicious foods and an abundance of locally grown wines to enjoy.
2-days of Fearless Abstract Painting in Salt Lake City, UT was incredibly special not only because it was my first time teaching here, but also because I had the unique opportunity to work with so many individuals I admire: My mom, aunt, sister, niece, mother-in-law, best friend, colleagues from my yoga teacher training program, and an artist (our host) who's work I admire immensely. I am humbled and honoured. This experience was a dream come true for me, and I thank each and everyone who participated in making this weekend the success that it was. xx
Rolling vineyards, oak forests, postage stamp towns, meandering country roads, family wineries, legendary landmarks, and 2-days of Fearless Abstract Painting in Sonoma, CA. A heartfelt "Thank You" for your attentiveness, receptivity & your welcoming heart. xx

An art studio with an ocean view, using leaves as stencils, eating from a basketful of start fruit, drying our paintings in the Hawaiian sun, making friends to last a lifetime & having my husband join the class impromptu. My heart is full. Thank you to everyone who made our Fearless Mixed Media Workshop a huge success. XO

2018 marks 10 years of Fearless Abstract Painting! I never imagined that a technique I invented in a makeshift studio in my parent's basement would touch the lives of so many and change the course of my life forever.
A humble & heartfelt "Thank You" to the students that took (and continue to take) my classes & workshops and who have given me the opportunity to do what I love. In celebration of this anniversary, I am dedicating a Fearless Student Gallery on my website to you: the Fearless Abstract Painter.
Would you like your painting to be featured in the Fearless Student Gallery? Email me your name, a high resolution jpeg. image & the title of your painting.
This blog was created to share my belief that the art making process can be a vehicle for empowerment.
I am living proof.
