Student Question: I took a course of yours years ago in Penticton, BC. I hope you'll come back again one day soon. What brands of paint do you use? I'm using Stevenson but looking to switch. Suggestions? I appreciate your expertise and advice. Answer: Thank you for contacting me! Since we met, I got married and moved to Hawaii. As a result, my teaching in Canada has become extremely limited. I have hopes that I will be teaching in Canada during the summer of 2018. I can certainly try to put Penticton on my list. I had a wonderful time there.
Please let me know if you would like me to add your name and email to my quarterly newsletter list. It's the best way to be notified of new and upcoming classes. To answer your question about paints, my favorite brands are Winsor Newton Galleria or Liquitex Basics when I am using student quality paints, and Winsor Newton Professional Acrylic or Golden Artist Colors when I am using professional, artist quality paints. I suggest you try all of them to see which one you like best. I hope that helps, and I'll keep my fingers crossed we will have the opportunity to work together in the new year. Paint Fearlessly, Samantha
