A day at the beach swimming in the ocean, wind tossed hair and a quick change in the car. The events leading up to my first juried exhibition in Hawaii couldn’t have been more fitting.
I am so grateful to have created a life in which I have both the privilege and the opportunity to travel, meet and mingle with other artists across the globe, and contribute to the betterment of my community.
Each artist received a hand made lei to wear during the show. A talisman of the Aloha spirit prevalent in Hawaii.
This blog was created to share my belief that the art making process can be a vehicle for empowerment.
I am living proof.
