It’s not too late. To take a walk in the rain. To swim in the ocean in the moonlight. To decide you really don’t like wearing pants. Ever. To wear heels. To paint a picture.
Last night a new word was born.
If you've ever wanted to take a weekly Fearless Abstract Painting Class this is your last chance! Limited availability. First come first serve. Sorry, no holds. Tuesday, October 21 - November 25, 2014 from 6 - 9 PM All experience levels welcome.
Class 3: Fearless Monday Night Abstract Painters
First Stop: Calgary Home & Design Show to hear, meet (and have them sign my iPhone!) Collin & Justin, Heather Draper (owner of The Heather Company in Calgary where I have recently acquired a new and exciting partnership) and an outdoor food truck picnic. Second Stop: East Side Studio Crawl.
They came, they made a mess, they had a blast. They got scrubbed in the bathtub and I ended up having to spray paint my stairs white again to cover up the blue handprints. All in good fun.
In all my years of teaching, this is the first time someone brings in a wasp's nest for mixed media texture. Amazing.
5 new paintings added to the Meditations Gallery.
Hands down the best way to start a week.
This blog was created to share my belief that the art making process can be a vehicle for empowerment.
I am living proof.
