An extremely limited collection of paintings inspired by play, movement, colour and snow angels with my little niece.  This weekend, I finally got the chance to watch the two episodes of Love It or List It Vancouver in which two of my paintings were featured. Does this mean my paintings are celebrities?!  Surfacing 8: Student Art Show & Sale was a huge success! Thank you to The Calgary School of Art for hosting the event, to the friends and family who attended and most importantly, to the participating artists that made it all happen. I am so proud of each and every one of you!  Back in 2010, I had no idea I was about to start a movement! Creating opportunities for my students to showcase their paintings in a series of art shows called: "Surfacing", has been one of the highlights of my career.  A 2-day Fearless Abstract Painting Workshop in Calgary, AB. What a perfect way to spend the weekend! |
