Summer workshops just might be my favorite time of the year to teach.
Thanks to the gorgeous sun outside, we were able to make our very own impromptu abstract gallery at the back of the store and make use of the elements to dry our paintings.
These guys were such a happy, enthusiastic bunch. Here's proof: We are 9 hours and 5 minutes into our paining practice. We have 45 minutes to go until the end of class.
What do I hear?
One of my students is actually tearing the plastic wrap off of a brand new canvas to start painting another one!
Now that's what I call enthusiasm!
See you this Thursday for another Mixed Media Workshop: Modern Metals. I'm so excited!
This blog was created to share my belief that the art making process can be a vehicle for empowerment.
I am living proof.
