This capsule collection emerged over a few short months, inspired by the paradisiacal island of Maui — a small jewel suspended in the Pacific, overflowing with a beauty I had always sensed but only now truly felt.
Everywhere I looked, inspiration bloomed: vibrant landscapes, rich colors, and profound serenity. Each piece captures the essence of Paia and reflects how this place reshaped my vision.
I began painting almost immediately after our mandatory evacuation from the Big Island. Still shaken and processing loss, uncertain whether Maui could become home, painting became my only sure footing — a way to root, heal, and translate paradise into form.
