Rockin The Rivers: A 3-day music and camping event in Montana. 10,000 people strong.
The adventure began with yours truly gaining at least 30 pounds as a result of putting on my (borrowed) motorcycle gear: Leather pants on top of my jeans, tank top, sweater, leather jacket, rain jacket, boots, gloves, neck warmer, a bandana across my face, a toque and goggles. In the end, all anyone could see was a tiny slit for my eyes. I am told that if I can ride in the pouring rain, I can ride in any condition.
Two hours later, the rain ceased and we arrive at our destination. What a feeling to ride on the back of a bike! As the world passes me by, I can think of two words to describe the way I feel: absolute freedom.
Thank goodness for the TumbleWeeds Gourmet food truck. It’s the only way I was able to abstain from the typical burgers and hot dogs.
This blog was created to share my belief that the art making process can be a vehicle for empowerment.
I am living proof.
