At the beginning of my art career, I would have hoped, but never guessed, that making art would afford me so many opportunities to travel. This is what happens when you live your life in line with your heart's true desires: The universe conspires to work with you, instead of against you.
For many years, I lived my life forcing myself to fit into someone else's definition of who I thought I needed to be. This was incredibly difficult and painful. I constantly felt like I was swimming against a strong current. As it turns out, I was making my life so much harder than it needed to be. Currents exist for a reason. Much like ships in an ocean, they help us navigate, and gauge how lined up we are with our life's unique purpose.
Now that I have embodied exactly who I am supposed to be, I no longer feel like I am swimming against the current. When you can float instead of swim, life feels a lot more effortless.
