Q. Hi Samantha... I met you briefly at Missa this year (I was in a clay course) and love your work & philosophy. I've started painting using this approach and am receiving such joy from it. I have a question about the rollers you use... Are they just basic hardware store paint rollers? It's hard to tell from the Youtube videos... which are awesome!
A. Thank you for contacting me! I am thrilled you are finding joy in working with my Fearless Abstract Painting techniques & philosophies. Did you say you weren't even in my class?! Amazing!
The rollers I use come from the local hardware store. Home Depot sells a red tray, metal roller and two foam rollers for around $6. I included a picture so that you can see what I am talking about.
If you have the time, I would encourage you to write a testimonial of your experience. I am always so eager to share with others what Fearless Abstract Painting can do for them, but it sounds so much better coming from you.
This blog was created to share my belief that the art making process can be a vehicle for empowerment.
I am living proof.
